Tips To Increase Web Traffic

There are many ways to increase web traffic to your website. Most webmasters are more interested in getting Targeted traffic with the MINIMUM amount of money.

Although it's not easy to get anything at no cost these days, but there still remain a few good methods to help increase traffic to your website for free. We will discuss some of the methods here.

1) Built A content-rich site

You might wonder what has this got to do with increasing online traffic. In fact, this is very important. Have you ever heard of ' content is king'? When you have built your content-rich site, search engines are gonna to love it and rank you high on it.

Carefully set up your title, keyword tags, description and URL, you may be better able to achieve high search engine rankings with a site that contains only content-rich articles and information.

2) Add an article page to your current site.
This is a great tactic that few webmasters are using. By adding article pages to your site you can rank high for keywords your article pages are targeting at.

For instance, let's say you have a domain that sells musical instruments. So, you are going to set up keywords rich articles' pages targeting on 'piano lessons', guitar lessons', 'how to play drum' etc...
Remember, with proper title tags and keyword usage, an article page is much easier to climb to the top of a search engine listing than the main home page.

Another trick is to include the keywords in your url. (For example, yoursite.com/pianolessons.html) If the keywords that you are targeting is not so competitive, with some quality back links, you will find your article page appear on the first page of Google.

Please take note that low competitive keywords don't mean 'low search volume', there are tons of keywords out there with high or reasonable search volume but low in competition. Do your home work and you will find plenty of it.

By doing this, you are attracting searches on the search engine who are interested on your topics to click on your article pages. If they read your article and like what they've read, most likely they will click on the link at the article page (unless you have forgotten to put a link there), they will end out on your home/ sales page eventually.

This tactic can be very powerful if you use it wisely. Imagine you have added 100 articles' pages to our main site, this will increase your web traffic seriously.
